This 6 week course is suitable for vaccinated puppies (approx 12 weeks old) until they reach 6 moths. Starting on Friday 18th February at 6.30pm, the class will last for 45 minutes and run for 6 weeks.

Join the "YOUNG PAWS" class in February at New Longton Village Hall!
This 6 week course is suitable for your "teenagers" from 6 months to 1-2 years of age (Doggies go through adolescence at different times, so contact us if you think your dog can benefit from this class) Starting on Friday 18th February at 7.30pm, the class will last for 50 minutes and run for 6 weeks.
You will learn:
Children are welcome and encouraged to attend classes and will receive their own handout after each class and a certificate upon completion!

Not all dogs are suited to group classes, which is absolutely fine. We are pleased to offer the fully bespoke PAWS@Home service which includes the following:
(all in the comfort of your own home)
Biting
Chewing
Jumping up
Toilet training
Feeding
Exercise and routine
Your dog collected from home and walked in the local area. We will visit local parks, wooded areas and fields. During the walk we will work on good lead manners, how to politely meet another dog, learning not to jump up and coming back when called (recall)
Your dog collected from home and walked in the local area. We will visit local parks, wooded areas and fields or pavement walks if your dogs is uncomfortable around others.
The purpose of the walk is exercise and enrichment, allowing you peace of mind that your dog is content whilst you are at work.
We will visit your puppy at home whilst they are waiting to complete the vaccination period We will feed them, check their water, clean up any accidents, change puppy pads and let them out to the toilet to encourage positive toilet training. Most importantly we’ll provide plenty of cuddles and play!

Please note that payment for services also implies full agreement with these Terms and Conditions.
General Terms
All class bookings are non refundable, upon acceptance of the terms and conditions.
Cancellations must be received before 72 hours of the first class in order for an alternative to be offered.
Village Paws reserves the right to cancel the contract (at any time & with immediate effect) if any dog/s under the contract do not respond well to the class environment and/or other dogs (where the continuing of said contract is deemed, by Village Paws, to constitute a risk).
Our methods are all kind and effective however are never instant and take commitment from the client to work with their dog in the long-term.
I agree not to use aversive tools (choke chains, anti-pull harnesses, spray collars, prong
collars, e-collars, rattle cans, water sprays etc) while undertaking any form of training.
All dogs that are known to bite other dogs or cause injury must not attend a group class. Please contact us immediately if this is the case to book a private 1 to 1 session.
Village Paws is insured with Protectivity, however any accident or injury during our training
session will not be covered if you have failed to use the appropriate equipment or failed to follow the advice of the trainer.
Temporary COVID 19 measures
The number of people permitted to attend sessions will be in line with current Government
guidelines.
If you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19, if you are waiting on the results of a
COVID-19 test or have been asked to self isolate please do not attend your session.

Village Paws will not disclose, share, sell or rent any personal information Village Paws holds
about you. without your consent or are required by law to do so. Where Village Paws have
outsourced a function or activity. to an external service provider, we will only disclose personal information that the service provider needs to undertake that function or activity. We will require external service providers to enter into confidentiality agreements, prohibiting them from using or disclosing personal information, for any purpose other than to carry out the function or activity for which they are engaged.
The quality, accuracy and correction of personal information we hold
Protecting personal information is a priority and Village Paws always considers security and
confidentiality when handling personal information. It is important that the information we
maintain and use is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If at any time your personal details
change, please let us know so we can update our records.

Village Paws are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Village Paws takes
reasonable steps to protect all personal information we hold, from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. All data and laptops are kept in a secure locker and laptops are password protected. We will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information when it is no longer needed.
